Ok, so i ordered the 400ex HMF Slip on, and the necessary jet kits to make this thing run top notch.

I'm now looking into AIR performance, and what is really worth the buck.

I see I can grab UNI air filters for about $20-30, or I can go all the way and get a full Pro Flo Kit.

My bike is bone stock except for the HMF and Jets, and would a Pro Flo kit really be worth the money, or should I just grab the UNI filter and do no lid?

This is as far as performance as i'll go, so im just wondering if i really need a pro flo or not.

Thanks

Pro-flow with K&N makes a pretty big difference! my buddy dinoed 4 HP gain with proflow over airbox with no lid on his DS

I'm staying away from K&N due to the dirt/dust it likes to collect all the time.

UNI or others?

Do i really need the pro flo, or will the uni filter just do?

For a 400ex I would just throw a uni on it.

Just get the UNI cause it already has a plastic reinforcing ring built in.
