When you get longer a arms you gain a longer turing radius correct? I no if you punch the gas you can turn on a dime but I was wondering if anyone has ever shaved where the steering stem gets stoped or even the steering stem? I know if you cut it too much the wheels will turn to much and they will just hop. Just a though:confused:

Back in the late 80's (when we bought new 250R's) we would grind down the steering stops to make it turn sharper. There were no negative effects to doing this. Just don't trim off too much!

How much did you take off each side?

I never measured it, just take a little off at a time till the lower part of the spindle gets real close to the lower a-arm.
