Doh!!!!

Was out on the ice last night and left my ligts on,completly draind the battery.Well when we went to jump start it with a deep cycle the guy that hooked the cables to my batt.reversed them,we got it started but it wont charge,Ive got it on a charger now but was wondering if I fried something.

If it's not holding a charge, chances are you probably fried either voltage regulator or that battery or both. It only takes an instant of having a charge hooked up backwards to fry the plates in a lead-acid battery.

I would definatley look at the voltage regulator. I bet the diodes in it are fried.

There is a 15amp fuse that is located by the battery. I would try replacing it if it is blown.
