on page 130 theres this "prowler RTV"....its got a grizzly engine and alot of the controls for the grizzly on it....its got elkas w/ piggy backs...stealth exhaust....auto wheel,4x4, runflats everything....too bad its 25,000 dollars!!!(for military only)....but seriously how cool would that be to cruise the trails esp if u had a 2 seater and puttin a system on it....to me thats like a dream quad (altho a rhino would do the trick ;)

also, on page 37, theres a really hot chick on the top left corner. "rock star" rides a raptor 350..yea id like to meet her

Whats in the new issue? Suprise, suprise, Honda gets beat again in a shoot out against a z400. Personally I've never ridden a z, but Honda sure can't win anything in this mag. thats for sure. Coming from the dirt bike side of things I've rode damn near every make, I would still stick with red.

what do u think of the new fox shocks in it???

This issue sucks except for the prowler. Why would they compare it to a sportsman and not a grizzly when its modelled off of a grizzly.

if you rode an 05 Z400, you would understand why the honda got beat. My friends 05 Z is faster than my piped and filtered EX- it handles better, is liquid cooled, and is engineered better- the placement of the electrical system, the ergonomics, the looks- are all better than the honda in my opinion.

I like Dirtwheels but ive noticed a few things since I've had a subscription for a few years. In this months issue in the readers rides there is a red 250r that was in the readers rides just like 2 years ago. And in "Dialed In" someone got the same question about making a 440ex in 3 times already. Either way, I still like the mag.

I still like the mag every month, but it seems that their opinions change like the weather. When the ex came out. they were almost p**sn themselves what a relavation this thing started and the minute the competition came out with something the ex is nothing but an outdated piece of crap. Same goes for the 450r against the yzf. Thats all they can do is talk about the Yammie and the r is so so.

I have just one problem with the 400ex vs. z400 article. I know that with all the improvements to the z400 for 2005 that the 400ex has no chance. I mean the only thing honda changed was to add reverse, which added more weight to a quad that already needed more power in stock form to keep up with the z400. But, anyway, in the article dirtwheels states that honda changed the countershaft sprocket from a 14 to a 15 and added a tooth to the rear sprocket to make it a 38, when in fact this is what the stock gearing on the 400ex has been ever since the first 1999 model. I would have thought the almighty Dirtwheels would have known this.

Yeah, that is one thing about dirtwheels...a lot of their tech information is wrong and a lot of times there are grammar and spelling mistakes- which isnt a big deal, but they are supposed to be a top-notched magazine- how hard would it be for them to do some research and proofread the thing a few times? It just makes them look unprofessional and uneducated...
