U have an aftermarket pipe right? I didnt see it in ur list. If not that should come first. If you want a higher compression piston and dont want to lose much reliability go with the 12:1

nope no pipe yet still cant make up my mind on Sparks, HMF or LRD i do however have k&n, modified the air box lid like the hrc kit and put in a 2'' power tip like the hrc kit, have a 180 main jet and i redid the pilot but cant remember what size 1 over stock i think.

I have HRC cam and went with JE 13:1 3-ring piston. Race gas is a must ( at least 50/50 with super unleaded) but the power is better everywhere. A aftermarket exhaust should come before piston. Good Luck.

the 11.5 is pump gas compatable and responds well to race gas...plus the reliable factor is way up!

JE or wiseco?

12:1 is can also be used while running pump gas. A few months ago a member installed the 11.5:1 piston and said he doesn't hardly notice a thing, said it was a complete waste of money. Call Sparks up and ask them about their 12:1 piston.

I heard from my engine builder that they were having problems with the 13 and 14.1 JE pistons. I would go with the 13.1 wiseco.

JE all the way! 13:1 is what I would and might run, so if your not afraid of race gas prices, throw 'er in there. Three rings is plenty reliable:D

I had the JE 11.5:1 piston a while back and wasnt impressed, I kick myself in the butt now just 'cause I didnt wanna run race gas. I have the JE 13:1 3-ring piston now and I absolutely love the power gains. It works great with the StageII HotCam my friend, you'll love it! Great combo for racing MX!

If you can afford the use of race gas, the benefits are with the 13:1 as far as performance and reliability. I've had mine for 4 months now and havent had any problems. Quad runs great!

I rode redracers bike and it RIPS! It made me come home and tear my bike in alot of pieces and do a full rebuild! I went with the 13:1 Je piston also. That is the ticket if you can get race fuel.
