Oversized valves?

I did a search on this subject. Didn't find exactly what I was looking for. What can you tell me about the need for oversized vavles for the following mods:

440EX, 10.6:1 true compressin, K&N air filter, hot cam stage II, sparks X-6, and soon to be mild port and polish on head.

Should I spend the money, if so, what size vavles and where can I get them? Thanks in advance!!!

Sounds like you have a motor that will benefit from the oversize valves, especially after you get the head ported. Go +1mm on them. Most people just go oversize on the Intake Valves and leave the Exhaust ones stock size... Kibblewhite makes some good ones and I know there are a few others. Basically whoever is doing your head porting should be able to hook that up at the same time for you. Once you get the oversize valves and the porting, look into getting a new carb in the future like a FCR39... You will see some nice gains and wont have any problem keeping that 440 fed with that setup!
