Looking for some pics or info where to mount a steering stabalizer on the 250r. What brand of stabalizer would also be helpful.

thanks

Pep and denton are the two most popular stabablizers. i use to have a pep one that i liked. But it only had 3 settings which required tools to do. The denton has like 9 settings and just takes a twist of a knob with your fingers. Both run around $125.

There are other manufactures, but most of them are just knock offs of these two brands. Otherwise, your looking at a GPR or a scott system that runs up in the $300 plus range.

Just make sure you get one that is rebuildable. They take a beating and will need to be worked on after a year or two.

I had some dampeners left over from some of my race bikes and made my brackets myself. It worked out nice the dampener is under the tank if interested I can take some pics and show you. You might be able to find a dampener on ebay and do it yourself for less money and have a really good set-up.
