Hey all, I just got a chain and sprocket kit from Primary Drive for my wifes 300EX. The only problem I am having is that the holes on the plate that goes over it dont line up with the holes on the sprocket. Am I doing something wrong??? Thanks in advance for all the help and advice.

Umm you have to turn the plate so the holes line up with the sprocket and the tabs (on the plate) DO NOT line up with the splines on the shaft. Kinda hard to explain, but maybe you're talking about something else entirely.

I think you may have the top "clamp" on upside down too..... the holes are not 180 degrees apart... if memory serves me right.

you are correct

just have to play with it, you'll get it on. and when its on, the sprocket WILL wobble, so dont try to overtighten the bolts trying to get the wobble out

once you put the clip on al the way, theres a grove it sits in that allows you to run it a little bit.
