Does anyone run a Super Coil?

I just got a used one for cheap. No idea how to hook it up, though.

Any and all info on installation or performance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Works like a stock one.Green wire from quad to black wire of coil, black wire from quad to red wire on coil.I have one and the R does start a little better. No great gain in power. They are a good replacement if you need a new coil and their customer service is first rate.

Thats what I have heard, suposed to give it a little more spark to start better and save plugs.

I use them in 4 of my bikes and they make a difference once your compression starts to get up around 230. The stock coil is very weak and with high compression in order to keep the flame from getting blown out most people change plug gap down to .020 - .023 which is not the optimal solution. Using Jansens coil I have been able to open our plug gaps back up to .028 which gives a much better burn and also allows for proper jetting. On one of my bike's the jetting was impossible and way to lean to get a proper plug chop, I swapped out the coil and then was able to increase the main jet up to where it was burning clean and pulling hard on top.
