What jet sizes

I wanna run my 400 ex without the air box lid. I have the stock pipe. what size main and pilot jet do I need, do i have to change the the pilot jet?

so u got a stock filter and air box lid off. if thats the case if i remeber right my friend use to run a 160 with just air box off
maybe thats too heigh. He now has a k&n and his jet is 165. Its pretty quick but he still cant beat me and my 450R go figure haha:p

160 for just the lid off is way too big. I wouldn't even bother rejetting unless its running poorly. Just try moving the clip on the needle down one position. Check the plug. I would say at most go up one main jet size maybe two if its cold where you live right now.
