is the trx450r timing chain the same as the crf450

the crf450r is absolutely not the same cam chain as the trx450r

the crf450r cam chain is a 112 links (14401-MEB-671)
and the trx450r cam chain is a 114 links (14401-HP1-671)

and a HONDA 116 link cam chain is available too!
