Well..let this be known..polishing is NOT easy...to do those items with best results.. this is what you should do
If the pedal has paint on it..I know the kicker doesn't..you'll need to buy some aircraft stripper..apply to the part..make sure not to make contact to your skin unless you like painful burning sensation..I can rub the stuff on my skin..doesn't burn..I'm used to it...anyway..remove all the paint you can..now comes the fun part
Your going to want to get the follow sandpapers.
600-1000-1500-2000
2000 is EXTREAMLY hard to find..you prob won't...1500 is fine for these parts..
Sand with 600 untill the entire surface area is smooth.
Repeat with all untill you reach 1500..sand untill you can see as little imperfections as possible..
If you don't have a buffer..and you have a dremel with a little buffer wheel..that will work for this...because these parts are small..i'd use my buffer..but thats because its awsome and is the most amazing tool ever..hah..anyway. You will need polish..I prefer Blue magic..because I get better results with it..but I use mothers to finish the part once I'm almost done...so this is what you do.
Take the blue magic..or mother's..whichever you choose...apply a little bit to a rag..cover the surface of the part with a tiny thin layer or polish..if that...then use the highest setting and go at it untill the part has a black residue on it..and the polish is all gone..then you clean it off with a rag..pref one that doesn't leave lint...and repeat untill your happy with the shine..It takes alot of time..and alot of work..so don't expect it to be easy..hope I helped.

Theres most parts on them that you can just take mothers too. everything on this bike was done by mothers, i only had to sand my case

Pvt.Maggot, What kind of buffer do you use. I'm looking to pick one up soon. The ones I was looking at were girinders that mount to a work bench, and I would just replace the grinding wheel with a buffer pad. Would that be fine, or should I look for something else?

where would i get the compounds from. i heard they are in stick form. i will be using a dremel with a buffer attachment, will this work? and once im done sanding can i just use the blue magic stuff.

I'd like to say it was chromed, but maybe he has a lot of free time on his hand.
