LRD is loud. The Yoshi pipe would be a good choice for you. They have an optional insert that quiets the pipe down substantially. It has good power gains, assuming you are talking about the Tri-Oval system. HMF also has a quiet core that lowers the db to 96 or so.

hey

just put my lrd pipe on tonight, it is a little louder than a stock bike with the HRC end cap but it's really not that loud.

just have to say i really love the sound of it, nice deep tone

has a little more bottom end, and alot more top end

Stock, the 450R must be around 88 db. Full LRD (Pro 4) system with quiet core installed, I'm not sure, but probably anywhere from 93-96 db.

I was unaware the LRD systems came with quiet cores. Can anybody else second this?

I didn't get a quiet core with mine. It really isn't super loud.
I ride with guys that have HMF's and their slip-ons are louder than my full system. I love the sound of my LRD.

The Pro 4 system doesn't come w/ a quiet core - you have to buy it seperate. LRD charges an extra $20 for it...
