just swapped the stock tires off my bike for some shredders. I notice now I get a real bad pull from the back tires when I hit the gas hard. I have the same preasure in both tires. Could this be from my chain being loose? need help! thanks

put more air in the tire that it is turning to

yep, i run 8 psi in one rear and 4 in the other rear so the bike pulls straight.

so maybe I should start at 7 pounds and then drop air from the side it is pulling to?

you need to add air to the side it is pulling too.

What kinda quad do you have? If you have one where you have a left and right side chain adjustment you may have them mis-aligned..... Sounds like your axle is slanted to one side and not inline with the quad.

I have a 2001 400 ex I am going to have my local shop check my axle alignment today

shop said axle looks good they said the bike is just hooking up better that is why it is shifting a little to one side?

no, its one of those tires i bet. mine do it too. you will notice that one tire will tend to wear a bit quicker after you get some time on them. however, the tires are holding up great but one will wear a bit differently than the other.

check everything. is your swingarm tweeked a little? is your chain tight? are you hubs bent? is yor axle bent.. there is so many possibilities that this would happen

just got back from the shop.
axle straight
rims straight
hubs good
same psi in both tires
chain was loose and needed to be cinched up
swing arm is fine

bike has never been crashed mostly rode in sand so maybe the chain was causing the lurch. I still think the tires are off from te manufacturer

ok Im no expert but try this

swap the tires, if it pulls to the same side its the bike. If it pulls to the opposite side, its the tires.

IM guessing that your two tires came from Diffent Tire Presses! And somtimes they can be diffrent sizes. I know a guy that bought TWO Holeshot XCT's 22's out of the ITP Trailer at a GNCC And with 4psi in them one of the tires was about 2"s bigger around than the other!

Get ahold of the company and im sure they should work with u, Shredders are a pretty good tire!
