Hey guys...I was wondering if any of you thought it would be a problem to remove a old graphics kit and install a new one on the same plastics? I bought a cheap graphics kit off ebay about a year ago just to see how well it'd stand up to trail riding and a pressure washer...but I now want to get the bombsquad graphics kit and was wondering if you saw any problem installing them on the same plastics...

Thanks in Advance,
Jeffrey

Try using alcohol ..... the same kinda stuff they use in hospitals when they wanna remove tape off of you without tearing out 50 hairs . ;)

Use one of those hair dryer type things that can reach over 200 degrees. Hold it a little bit away from the sticker you want removed for a couple seconds, and peal the edge up with a razor blade.

Yes..You will need a heat gun..I highly highly doubt a normal hairdryer would work..but heck..give it a shot..once the graphics are off..If you've ever herd of googone...then use it...if not..buy some..It will take anything sticky..of anything..it will take gum right out of your hair..so its good..You don't absolutely need it..but I would reccomend it if you wanna get all the sticky residue off...then take a cotton ball and some alcohol and clean the area very very well..and let it dry..and there you go..preped and ready to go. :)

I used a heat gun to remove the decal itself and then lighter fluid and a rag removes the sticky stuff really well. Just make sure the quad is cool and don't smoke.:eek2:

It should not be a problem. Take off old graphics, use carb cleaner to remove glue, clean plastic well, place on new graphics. This is how I replace my Alba graphics kits. Hope this helps:)

use this stuff called goo gone, to clean the sticky stuff off of your plastics from your old graphics, then clean your plastics real well to get the goo gone off, that stu ff works miracles thou it will take stickers off in no time just let it sit for a few mins and bamb scrub it and it's gone!
