What year is the KFX?

The I believe the '04s frames were upgraded some, and then the '05s were upgraded further

I have broke my frame 2 now on my z and both have been right behind where the a arm mounts to the frame i have hit trees with the tire and it just pushes the frame togeather.

its ok but if you know how to weld than you can pick up the kit for 50$ but bareperformance is like 400$ to get your bike gusseted and Powder coated its a good deal and the got two new colors and there trick as hell.

At first they had some problems but I think they cleared up all of the defects.

This is not true... They claimed to have beefed up the welds on the later models (04, 05), but I have seen plenty of 04's with rusting/cracking around the top shock mount. Most people who have 05's haven't had theirs long enough for them to crack yet.

I have an 05' and it has already been ripped apart and is being gussetted & powder coated right now. I do not have a lot of money & I am not going to MX my quad but I still thought it was a good idea. All I know is that I will NOT be in here in about six months complaining of a broken frame. although not being able to ride a quad you just bought kind of sucks too!
