...both PC and paint chip so I just painted them. I bought a bead-breaker/tire changer for $30 and got some good metal etching primer. After a real good prep job (sanding, cleaning, primering) I painted them with an industrial gloss black....no chips yet and can easily fix it if they do chip rather than having to do another PC job

I was really torn on painting vs PC'ing but then I saw a couple of 250r's out here with PCed rims all chiped to helll and back, almost looked like beadlocks, and then never fixed them because they didn't want to have to pay for another PC job....that sealed the deal for me
