I have had good luck with ASR... But since the prices are close go with the LSR (I am guessing price is about the same).

why not go with houser?? i have heard that they are just as good or better than roll design, and are probably cheaper than both lsr or asr. just a suggestion.

actually the DC-4s are a lil more,housers are very good,i have +3 LT's and they are superior,held up great,very nicely made,trick welds,everything was perfect

Almost every a-arm out there is good. They are made the same way, out of the same material. Is what determines the price is the name and R&D.

not true, there are companys liek wicked etc that make junk and cover it up with pc...

some of them say they use the same materials..not always true

asr doesnt make bad a arms but its one of those cases where you get what you pay for...all those fancy looking heim joints...plan on replacing them after a season...and there $$$

if your breaking that many ball joints its something your doing remember the lowers are suppose to be threaded all the way in, id get laeger, houser, lsr before american star

not only can the cheaper ones not be made with the same material, but it migth not have the same spindle geometry for the right handling. anyone can copy the look of a quality a arms but can have the angle off.

i rode a 250r with jd arms..omg it darted all over the place scary as hell to ride, i was coasting in the sand like 2nd gear and feared for my life everytime i hit a bump....def will never buy those a arms

did you break the uppers or lowers? the welds on some of those a arms are really bad and they grind them down and pc them and they look real clean but there not

i just got off the phone with our local cycle shop (maximum cycle) he said them housers are a pretty sweet set and the LSR would take around 6 weeks to get in

Def. go with the DC4s. All the AZ pros run DC4s and LSR components. Fit and finish is awesome.

Sorry if i came off pissed, i am by know way pointing fingers at Lonestar as a bad product that was just my experience with the axle, i guess thats what happens when u hit 90ft jumps:eek: The sprocket hub i replaced, and have since sold it to another C-dale rider. I replaced the axle with a used moto axle i got for almost nothing. I would not hesitate to own another LS axle though.

C-dale axle explains a lot. The first few batches’ of axles we made had to light of sprocket hub and did break. We try saving as much weight as possible, but just went too far. I hope you sent that hub to us, it would have been under warranty. Sorry for the inconvenience I do appreciate the reply.

DONT buy the friggin ASR's... Ive personally known 3 people who have had problems with them and heard about countless more...

Forget about ASR and go with the LSR between those 2...

ASR's are not junk. they are a very good a-arm! But yes, LSR is better.

But i had nothin but good luck with my ASR's. Which A4StrokeGuy now owns my old c-dale with ASR's....lol

I have ASR a-arms and I ride mx and trail and have never had any problems with them. If you are going on a pro circuit spend the money but for the everyday rider there are more affordable choices.
