I heard the Big gun one is pretty good, its not the same as the white bros. one

the big gun will have starting problems as well as the white bros. The GT thunder is one of the ones that wont, as well as another brand that slips my mind at the moment.

i was told the big gun won't give starting problems, but i am not too sure. my aggressive curve gt thunder one is a bit harder to start and the idle is a bit irratic. i would probably get the less aggressive curve gt box if i had to do it again. the tc one is good to from what i hear.

GTThunder, awesome CDI, could definately notice the difference. Give them a call, as the box is not listed on the website, if you do a search for the phone number, you will find it somewhere.

I have a Big Gun box on my 400 and have had no problems at all.
cold weather and not starting the bike for 2 months had no affect on mine.

This is just me, but I would skip the cdi and just save the money for a msd or other brand ignition. Especially if your building your motor. I'm not saying a cdi wont help you out I just think the whole ignition would help more. Just something else to think about.

i just ordered a big gun rev box and im very impressed on how it starts and idles! with the stock box it would start and die about 3 or 4 times before it would start to idle on a cold day..the weather around here has been about low 30's to higher 40's and with the big gun rev box that i just put on monday night it starts and idles right after i pump the gas twice!

i have borrowed a buddies tc rev box..and to compare it to my big gun i like mine alot more the idle is alot better, and when the motor is warm it doesnt seem like it even turns over 1 time and it hits! it has a 1750 rpm redline on it too!

i would rate it above the tc rev box that ive used in the past.

it has no cold starting effect so far, like i said it was low 30's last night and it fired right up and idle far smoother then the stock box.

i am very impressed and would consider buying another big gun rev box in the future for another quad!

just my .02,

steve

it is a tad smaller than the stock cdi box, but stills fits ok in the stock cdi holder.
