plug chop readings

well i just did a plug chop to see how it was but the thing is i only could run it open for about 500 feet. I pulled the plug and it's hardly unchanged. either i didnt get a good read because its only 500 feet or my jettings very lean.

so does anyone know if it can be done in 500 feet?

you just need more time on the plug. i like using plugs that i had in my bike then doing a plug run. i realize most people say get a new one but this is how i learned to get the best results and read what is really happening.
