I'm looking for some riding boots. I'm trying to keep the price below $300, but still get a quality boot. I'm leaning towards Tech 6 or Forma Pros. Does anybody have any experience with either boot? Any other recommendations and why? Thanks!

Two of my friends run the forma pros...and they wont buy anything else. Personally, I've been really surprised by my Thor T-30s. I got the white ones. They were 130 bucks, they're built really well with a good heat shield, they have awesome support but they are still comfortable, and they look good.

Can't go wrong with Tech 6. I got a pair and wouldn't wear anything else.

i have fox formas and they are junk compared to the alpinestars... the biggest problem is if u brake a part on the boot they won't send u replacements... i had 2 of my straps cut when i broke my leg and fox wouldn't send me new straps and no dealer could get me them... i tried EVERYONE... also the alpinestar is better fitting and a better design...

Forma Pro's, Tech 6 and 8's, all good boots.

I have a pair of Forma Pro's and Tech 8's. The QC on the A-stars is higher - in regards to both the 6 and 8's.

Thanks for the quick replies. It sounds like they Tech 6's are getting everyones vote. Anyone else have any experience with them or any other boot they would like to give there 2 cents on? Thanks!

I wear Alpinestar Vectors. I had Tech 8's and liked both of them about the same. The Vectors are more comfortable, but don't have as much traction. Hope that helps.

(I'd stay away from any type of cheap boots...You get what you pay for. EX: Cheap O'Neals, you can feel your ankle bend when you land lol)
