This is a picture from Chaparral Motorsports Catalog where I bought it. It cost 69.95 plus shipping. It is in very good condition, only been worn about 8 times. The only reason I am selling is due to my sponsor providing one for me. Asking $50 shipped. I really like this style of chest protector mainly due to comfort.

No it doesnt have hard plastic on it. IF you go to www.chaparralmotorsports.com and type in 661 chest protector into the search it shows the details on it..
