hey ive got the big gun full system...not the new kind I guess I got the old style..anyways I noticed that when I got it there was no gasket for where the muffler connects to the headpipe...and it leaks like a *******..blowin black crap all over my engine..well Ive tried silicone and all that but it still leaks and now the rattlin is really tickin me off...any pointers??

If you call Big Gun, they should know. What they will probably say is to use high-temp gasket-maker type sealant, and let it set for 24 hrs. before firing the engine. You've already tried silicone, though, so I don't know what's up.

What I did was cut two 1" long slits in the silencer pipe where it goes over the headpipe, hi-temp siliconed it, then clamped it down with a good clamp (I used a t-clamp off a supertrapp). It's been two years now and it hasn't leaked yet!
