Im looking into what kinds of race fuels I can run through my TRX to give it the most power. I wanted to see what some of you guys are running and hopefully I can make a decision. The motor is fully built for MX level of racing. Money is not a problem when deiciding on fuel but I want it to be legal for when I race nationals. Thanks.

depending on what compression piston you have, the fuels will vary. if your 12-13:1 i would run vp c12, which is 108 octane, if you are higher than 13:1 i would run vp c14, which is 110, or 112(can't remember), if you are less than 12:1 a 93, or 94 octane pump gas will suit you just fine. there is no need for race fuel if you're less than 12:1. if i'm wrong feel free to correct me.

actually klotz make a race fuel that is deseigned for stock compression 4 stroke engines that is 100 octane is supposed to give great power improvments over pump gas.im going to try it out when i get my new bike finished.

Some of the national riders in our area are using whats called ELF Race Fuel, its $50/ 5-gallon can! Its some bad stuff though!! VP C-14 is really good stuff too! I personally run TrackTek 105 oxygenated fuel in my race motor and it works really well.

those comp vs octane levels are a bit off I know talking to LAZ that they can run 93 pump in thier 13.5:1 wiseco R, Im going for the 13:1 or 13.8:1 Either way just screing arround ill run pump, mix at dunes/or long trips and race at the harescrambles.
