Well, as some of you have read, I've been pretty unhappy with the Dakota that I have (2000 quad cab, 5.9 V8, 4x4, loaded); I'm still getting around 8 mpg with it. Anyhow, I was going to buy a 2005 Focus, but then the Ford Dealer (Rock River Ford) pissed me off pretty bad. Anyhow, I found a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport that I'm going over to the dealership to sign on the line for first thing in the a.m. Red with black hardtop and full softtop, 4.0 Litre Inline 6, 5 speed, Air conditioning, cd player with factory sound bar, cloth seats, full doors, 60,000 miles. Checked around on the internet and she should get around 17 mpg city. They want $12,999 for it, seems fair to me. This will be the third open-top Jeep I've had - first one was a '76 CJ7 with a 360 AMC V8 in it, second was a '93 Wrangler with the 2.5 4 in it. Needless to say, I'm real excited and looking forward to this. I'll try to get some pics up later this week.

yea sounds like a good deal to me. just dont expect to get 17mpg in the city. if you ever plan to wheel it though make sure it has a dana 44 axle in the rear. or wait till you find one that does. the dana 35s are a pos. i have a 99 wrangler and busted that dana 35 4 times. and the tires i had on it was only 31s. finally i got smart and put a 9'' ford under it.

Probably not, it's gonna be a daily driver - I'm keeping the Dakota for now in case I get into any ruff stuff; the Dakota is fully equipped - big axles, 32" BFG's, factory skid plate package, etc, etc.
