Can u turn a 300ex on its side for about 2 hours without draining the oil? I gotta take a side plate case off and seal it with some rtv.

I'm not sure...... But I would drain the oil prior to this project, and once you have the side case assembled back on, add new oil. I know that oil changes are not cheap these days, but I would hate to see you have a mess with oil all over the place if it does not go as planned.:rolleyes:
