Does anyone know of a company that makes a ski and rear track kit for a 400ex? or does anyone have a kit for sale, or plans on how to build one? please let me know, thankyou Bob

there is a kit have seen the almost bought 1 with it but dont remember the name but i pretty sure there like 1200$

I'm pretty sure they are more money than that. I know lite-foot made track kits as well as sno-trax but I think sno-trax went out of business. I think the kits used to run like $2000-$2500 for the good ones, and the 4x4 kits were in the $4500 neighborhood.

Heck you can buy a snowmobile for that!I'm from N.Y. too I feel your pain, but lets hope the snow melts away soon:D

AD Boivin (http://www.atvtrack.com/flash/index.html) makes a track and ski kit. I've thought of the idea for my DVX but just dont think the 400cc has enough power to make the ride enjoyable. Plus getting used to the slowness and powerless of a quad compared to a 150Hp snowmobile would be hard to do.
