Chit I can bust out the moves pretty good . New Years eve , I was even dancing ... maybe it's cuz I couldn't feel any pain in my leg cuz of the Tequila shots  I paid for it the next few days though .

The leg is slowly getting better ... I had surgery 2 weeks ago to remove a few screws and fix up another piece of bone . I finally got whats called an "Exogen" machine a couple weeks ago . It's like an ultrasound thing I strap to my leg for 20 minutes each day and it sends pulses through the bone to help generate bone growth where I'm missing a chunk of bone about 3 inches long . Doctor is telling me in about 10 months of using this machine everyday , that the bone should grow back and be nice and strong . But until then , I'm crutch bound . No quad riding for me this summer .... just lots of sitting in a boat and fishing . :p

JR knows it all:rolleyes: Some fields have other positions. For one the HVAC field. There are installers, "technicians", and others. Just like electrical apprentice (in your profile). The word apprentice means still learning and is not fully qualified. So technician probably means in the repair/technical end of the job.;)

I love land surveying - its what I went to school for, so I kind of better like it or that was money wasted. But I love the fact that I'm on a different job each week - different environment - the only complaint I have really is the fact that I'm pooped when I get home AND when it is 99 degrees out or 99 degrees below zero. Otherwise I'm fine with the weather.

I do work non-stop! I'm motivated by money, what can I say?

I did surveying for 4 semesters in College and did a 2 week field placement . It just wasn't for me .... out in the freezing cold with rain comming down , trying to measure stuff accurately ... then at the end of the day stuff doesn't add up and you're back out there with flashlights till 11PM . Takes a special kinda person with patience to do that kinda stuff ... but I'm sure it becomes a repetitive process after years of doing it .

I would enjoy the new environment each week though ... beats the 9-5 pushing the same papers everyday .

I love money too .... but I have yet to hit the pot of gold .... or find that rich women . :p
