I was using my 24" dual-auger MTD snowblower and was helping my father clear his driveway. Meanwhile, he's using his 1972 Gravely 5260 2-wheel tractor with the snowblower attachment. This thing is incredible for a 32 year old piece of equipment. I couldn't capture the whole rooster tail in the frame of my camera. It still goes another 4'-5' feet in the air!

That thing must be powerful!

But if the wind is blowing towards your driveway, you wouldn't get any work done.

Hell yea!!!

My father has two Gravely's.... dual wheeled. Those things are made out of solid iron! Built to last....and then some.

The thing is incredibly heavy. It's so heavy and there's no steering system for it other than to just muscle it around. We just threw the 2 mower decks away that we had for it. It's strictly a snowmachine now.

No hydrostatic tranny and this one has a Kohler engine.

Yep, I have two Gravely lawn mowers. Hands down the most durable mower I have encountered.

Those Kohler engines seem to last forever, and seem to have gobs of torque.

Thats pretty awesome, we haven't had to get our snowblower out in a few years, but i recall it doin a lil better than that, it covers 8.5 feet and we use an 80+hp tractor so it basically owns all. Sayin winters have sucked the last couple years we've only been using the skid loaders to clean snow...

Yep, same setup my father has. He uses his for clearing fields and heavy brush. Anything you can fit under the deck, it shred's without thinking twice.

I think he has had his for over 20 years now....just require a bit if maintenance here and there...but those Kohler motors last forever!
