Great Job Harlen,

Stay in shape for the GNCC Series and put that Suzuki on the podium all season. Glad I don't have to race against you.

That boy can ride, he handed my *** down to me..... I will admit, I have a decked out 20 grand quad and he beat me on a stock z400 with axis shocks and extended a-arms, everything else stock, and handed everyone's asses down to us.....

The course was 5.9 miles with a sixty minute time limit (meaning white flat about 50-52 minutes into the race). My results would be slightly off, but he ran 5 laps in 58 minutes or thereof, beating 2nd place by 90 seconds? I was 5 minutes behind him, ran 1 hr 03 minute myself....

GOOD JOB HARLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I really am wanting to go back east and run a GNCC race, but everyone telling me my quad is too wide, almost 52" wide, is this so?? Maybe I can find one to ride back east or something....

at 52 inches, you would never make it thru a gncc track, 48 inches is pushing it, 44-46 is ideal

congrats on the finish, looks like there was some stiff competition.
the WORCS website reports 300+ riders!!!!! that's the largest ATV turnout for a WORCS race yet! it's growing... fast!

here's a little coverage on the race: WORCS, Phoenix (http://www.off-road.com/atv/race/2005worcs/phoenix/sunday.html)
at the bottom it mentioned that there are some changes coming that might help me & others up this way... if i can work things out, i'd like to try to make the series.

No, I don't see that happening if though I actually really, really enjoyed racing the WORCS race. I think my wife would put the hammer down if I even mentioned the idea, but if they were closier I would race some and I plan to race atleast one a year because I had a blast at this round.

corry overalled the C class race, i'd say she did pretty damn good.....also she came form the second line to do it....

Oh.....yeah......I feel bad now for racing the C class. But here is my story! On Saturday I raced the Women's A class (so they would have a full class)......I ran the wrong front tires with too much air pressure, and I got arm pump on the second lap.......so bad, in fact, that I lost my second place position and dropped WAY back......I couldn't move or feel my thumb for the rest of the race, so I was palming the throttle the whole way......when I finished, I couldn't even turn off my quad!!! It was just embarassing.......

So......feeling TOTALLY unworthy and slow as a snail, and remembering the beating I took at Glen Helen in the 30+ C class a year or so ago.......we thought I would be a good match for the Production C class.

So I raced Production C on Sunday.......I changed my front tires back to my MX set-up and took some aspirin and started in the last field for our gate with the Production C class.......I had no tearoffs, and the course was muddy, so I hung back to save my goggles......then I started making my passes in the drier sections of the track.......and then, when I figured out I was NOT getting arm pump, I just took off, and had a blast!!!! I wasn't sure where I was in the pack......I just knew there were people ahead of me and I wanted to get past them........it was so much fun....the hour long race was great...when I was done racing, I told Jason I wanted to ride some more!!! :) Then everyone told me the guy I was chasing down on the last lap was actually the first place guy from the class that started before me........so that was cool! But........then......I felt bad, because I should have raced a B class.......:( I will race Production B next time........and there WILL be a next time, because the WORCS races are SO fun!!! :) I also want to race the Women's A class again, becuase without getting arm pump, I would have done MUCH better in that class! :)

It was great meeting people I hadn't met before, and the turnout I think was awesome!!!!

I hope you guys all liked Speedworld!!! It's my favorite track in AZ!!! And for any of you who liked it, and want to race it again -the ITP series is coming to Speedworld in September for a round!!!! WHOOHOO!!! :)

I was at the WORCS race and I finished 11th in the Open A class (I got stuck in one of the tangle ups on the start) and in the sport 15-29 A class I got 4th. I really wanted to race the Pro-Am but I guess I didnt qualify with that 11th place finish. But overall I had a blast. I can't wait until Havasu, that track is always fun!

he's right i didn't make it... it just wasn't in the cards for me this time; but i'm going to be working on getting together w/ some other local guys for some of the other rounds.

Zhvonte- no need to stroke my ego... the only way i beat you at payette is that you had some problems early on(crash?, tangle?), on the last laps you were definitely catching me... i just had a great race that day

andre, I didn't have any of those problems, just ran out of time to do more laps after I just started loosening up and started feeling good.....
