400ex White Brothers CDI

I'm thinkin about getting a White Brothers Rev Box for my 400ex. How do you guys like these. Do they advance the timing, increase revs, both?? What are some of the features about these. thanks

Hey I put a WB CDI box on my fiances 400 and i like it but ive heard that its basically a 250x cdi box and that you may have some problems with it but i havent had any on hers yet... only had it for bout 4 months though so well see and lt you know but we do like it, it helps!!

i have had mine for a couple of years with no prob, other than cold weather starting, but with good battery, no prob at all, never heard of using a xr250r box, but if they say it works it would save some money

I have heard that GT Thunder makes the best CDI. I havn't gotten one yet, but plan to.

ok thanx. i was wondering if it was good or not or anyone have problems or is it worth it. i am getting a box of aftermarket stuff and the w/b CDI comes in it.

the gt thunder is one of the few boxes that wont give you starting problems. If your battery isn't fully charged with the white bros, then it wont start at all. I've heard a lot of problems with them. Do a search there are a lot of topics about this. Also I dont think that the 250X and the XR250 have the same rev box!? They might but I thought they were different.
