View Full Version : 2003 Honda 400EX setup for MX&TT

Hey guys, it's time to sell one of the bikes and since the 400's been sitting for a good year now, it's time to let it go.

2003 Honda 400ex
Chassis: Viper +2 a-arms, Works Triple Rate with res. front shocks, stock rear shock, Viper steering stabilizer, Lonestar +4 axle, ITP Holeshot MX on Douglas .190 rims, Turf Tamers on the rear also on .190 rims. TT- American Racer's all around on Douglas rims, Lowering strut in the rear, Stock Yamaha Banshee front shocks to lower it, and a sway bar. Renthal ATV bend handlebars, as well.

Stock engine, has a slip on HMF muffler (brushed aluminum finish)

Misc: Legacy ATV graphics and number plate backgrounds, Legacy ATV parking brake block off, DG nerfs, AC front bumper, AC skid plate, Honda CR250 clutch perch setup. UNI air filter.

Unsure on a price yet, would hopefully like to get $4000 for it, or make reasonable offers. I have only practiced on the TT setup once. I do have all stock parts, except for a-arms.

American Racer's all around on Douglas rims, Lowering strut in the rear, Stock Yamaha Banshee front shocks to lower it, and a sway bar. I don't know if the lowering strut or the swaybar will work, but I'd like about 600 for all that.

I already have a front lowering kit and swaybay, just need wheels and rear lowering kit, but I think I have a deal worked out on a rear lowering kit. So how much would you take for the rear wheels only and with the tires?

How long since shock service or you got them? How are they valved? Is the frame straight? Any cracks?

I have had the shocks for about a year and a half now, I only raced them for one season and the bike has been sitting ever since. Have not had to get them serviced, the track I raced didn't have any jumps really (biggest was a 25 foot double). Valved for I think 160 C class rider. Frame is straight, no cracks or bends.

The R has porting and polishing done by krank it racing( who joe byrd used when he rode the 250r), it also has boyesen rad valve and pro carbon reeds, extra wide grab bar, razr tires all around on ITP wheels, shock wears, nstyle graphics and gripper seat cover, profssionoaly jetted carb, new x-ring chain, prm front bumper, shorty clutch perch, rear skid plate, BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION!! not even used for an hour, fmf exhaust, dg nerfs, new k&n filter with outerware, pro design cool head, new shifter from moose, oury grips, alloy handlebars, galfer wave rear rotor, drilled fronts, new topend, new bottom end, and that is all i can remember right now.

That is not rust on the headers, just crap that burnt onto the headers. Lowest I can go is $3300
