Whats faster 450r or yfz450

Whats faster a honda 450r or a yamaha yfz450. I think they are about the same speed but what do you guys think?

they are about the same stock. yamaha pays a lot of money for advertisment. the 450R really needs a better cam, the stock cam is really holding back a lot of power. also the yfz comes stock with a 11.9-1 piston and the 450R has a 10.5-1 so theres another thing holding back some power on the honda. the honda is more reliable. moddified both are about the same.

the yfz is like totally faster dude..you should like really go check out bluetraxx.com ...they will tell you everything you need to know..:confused: :devil:

thats odd :eek2: i see yfz vs 450r threads floating by all the time, dont guess the search brought them up or something. Well, i guess ill go ahead and tell you... The yfz is a little faster on topend, but ive seen videos of a 450r beating a yfz and vise versa, in other words, they are so close, its incomparable. sorry to gripe at you over the search thing.

check out trx450r.org they have the top speeds pinned on thier site450r 78 mph yfz450 78mph. the r will run even faster than the yfz will with even sprocket changes.these tests are facts check them out.

i dont have the jetting fine tuned yet but this week i had put on a HMF full System Hot cam Stage 2 and a power now valve on my R i already had K&N with the air box cut like the HRC with a 180 main and my buddy has a YFZ and we Raced about a half hr after i installed the cam today and he beat me still in top end but i also have 1 tooth bigger in the rear but i dont know i dont think that 1 tooth will make that big a differance i stayed right there all the way till i hit the rev limiter (tonight I Buy a Rev Box) speaking of which what kind should I get is one different than the other my buddys have procom and have had no problems but ive heard some bad things too
