Will the 250R stock front shocks perform very good on a 400EX? I know they will fit but how much better are the stock 250r shocks than the stock 400EX shocks? I have a 04' 400ex so the shocks are still really new. How much should I sell my stock 400EX front shocks for if I was to get different shocks? They look brand new basicly. How much better would the works triple rate with no rezzies than stock 250R shocks? Sorry I have so many questions.
Thanx,cory

Go with the works, they will be much better than the 250r shocks.

stock for stock I would stay with the 400ex 250R shocks are very old. But you can run 250R works shocks on a 400ex might be a little soft because a 4oo ex weights more. But you can adjust the preload a little to compensate. Works are much better than stock!

I bought a set of stock 400ex shocks on Ebay for $50, that seems to be about the average for them.
