Nope.

Yes, the rear can, but I recommend going with an aftermarket linkage and rebuild instead that totally eliminates the rear end from bucking you over the bars!

I was doing some searching on that exact subject before i bought my elkas. But from i found out ur better off to stay away from SSD. They lower ur center of gravity, BUt if ur starting to slow down they dont work near as well.

Id say u should buy the Gt Thunder Linkage and have them rebuild ur shock for ur weight and riding style. Thats what i would do. And then i would invest in some sorta front shocks!

Im getting ready to toss my SSD spring, and im gona try to run a Elks Live Dual Rate! I rode my buddie 250r and his suspension felt great!

I think you are better off going with a new rear shock. When I had a revalved rear shock on my 400ex it blew some seal during a race and I got a bad finish because of it. The stocker just doesnt hold up.

that would be ideal for me right now but i just dont have the money. stock stuff does worry me i have had problems with a few different things giving me bad finishes from my carberator hose things popping off to flat tires to me just being plain retarded and not realizing the race started but hey i still got third starting a quarter lap after everyone else so its ok haha.

for any kind of racing, you are going to want SSD or ZPS. both are the same thing. The ground clearance mainly comes from your tires.
