Parting out a quad...how hard is it?

I have tried to sell my 300 outright but havent had any luck, i'm thinkin of parting it out. How much work is it and is it worth it in the long run? Thanks

lot of time spent on disasembly and shipping. if its a mostly stock 300 i doubt it would b worth it. jus post it on ebay as a buyer must arange pick up of item auction

i got a lot of nice aftermarket parts, powdercoated frame etc... i would be afraid to get screwed on ebay, yet i trust the fellow exriders members.

its hard to get screwed as a seller, you always get the money before you send.

from the looks of things u would make some good money if u parted your quad out. i mad more parting my 250r out the if i would have sold it as a whole quad.

true ralph...im not real familiar with paypal is it the way to go? I think i have a lo of parts fellow members would beinterested in.

its almost impossible to get screwed as a seller. u ship out the item after u receive the money. the only way u get screwed is if they dont send money. id just sell it as a whole.

ive tried sellin it as a whole its been posten on here several times with no luck... i really want a 450 and im thinkin this might be the way to go

ive parted out motorcycles and i sell a lot of quad parts on ebay, paypal is definatly the way to go. the worst thing to watch for is stupid peeple who dont understand what all the numbers meen, they will buy sumthin from u then complain cuz its not what they need, even though it is exactly what the auction said it was for...

you may get 1/2 of the stuff sold pretty quick and then it will take a while to sell the other half. I will take you a month or two to get everything sold and shipped and all money collected..

its easier to jus do a few parts a week for a couple months, that way u dont hafta ship 50 things a day.
