I was just wanting to know how you washa a k7n airfilter, do u just use soap and water or a different way, someone reply as soon as possible

I use the kandn recharger kit. Its like 10.00 and comes with cleaner and new oid. You just spray the cleaner on, let it sit, come back about 30 min later rinse it out, i like to repeat that step once more, then let it dry and aply oil.

you can also use a mild detergent, I use clothes soap sometimes.

make sure u wash it from the inside to the outside when u put water into it so it don't push the dirt into the filter it pushes the dirt from the inside to the outside...

K&N offers a Recharge kit which will run you around $15.00 which includes a cleaning formula and some oil. I've heard leaving some dirt in K&N's provide better filteration, and don't need to be cleaned as much as most standard foam filters. -s0
