Steering Stems

Just a heads up for anyone looking for cheap steering stem. If anyone is familiar with D&D racing, you would know that they have slowly been getting into four-wheeler stuff. The now sell 4130 chromoly steering stems for most sport models in various lengths for $150! Still more than anyone should pay for a piece of tubing but its certainly cheaper than the brand name ones and its the same material.

I know a cheap way to fix a bent one, you cut off the bottom and top and take a thicker piece the same length as the middle piece that is bent then weld the top and bottom back onto the thicker one you just took, that way its stronger and its inexpensive.
