I have just installed a hmf full system on my 400ex the clutch cable is sitting against the header pipe do you have to reroute this or will it melt this cable

I would say that it will melt the cable. If you can't reroute look into some spark plug wire heat guards. I bought some about 4 years ago for the wires on my Bronco that were close to the headers and they are still holding up fine. I ordered them through Summit, but I don't remember what brand they were?

You should reroute it cause it will definitely melt the calble. How is the full hmf pipe? How much power does it add? Please tell us if you can.

i have not ridden it yet sounds good and the quiet core really quietens it down i have tried to reroute the cable but it is not long enough to go any other way

You may have to buy a longer cable or an inline adjuster would give you a couple inches. If you can put up a pic so we can see where it is and may give you suggestions on rerouting.

my buddy currently has a zip tie holding it away from the header. also, try bending the black little bracket that the cable runs through.

I just got my full HMF and had a custom +2" Terry Cable made. It works well and is not close to the headers at all...
