The throttle is getting really stiff on my 400 and its sticking sometimes... Not sticking WO, but its sticking like at half throttle, wont let me push it anymore, then it gives way real quick. My thumb cramps up on the track cuase its hard and I saw a post about filing down the spring in the throttle body in the carb. I wanna do this but dont know what i have to do to go about doing it. Can someone give me some detailed instructions or pics please? thanks. andrew

Lube your throttle cable. Check your cable for kinks or pinched against something. If that dont do it then buy a new cable.

I would do what SUPERFLY said, check the cable for any damage. If it looks fine, spray some WD40 or other lube. -s0

i do that everytime..i adjust the throttle and spray stuff down the cable and i spray everything else and 1 hour later it gets stiff again. nothing helps or seems to work. how hard is it to install a new throttle cable? they are only like 10 or 12 bucks right? andrew
