Just got mine, went to install and the stock bushing is too big.Is there suppose to be one in with the stem?or maybe the stem was boxed wrong? It's about 1/8"-1/4" smaller diameter than the stock one.

Sounds like you got one for a 400ex or a 250r.

Burgard makes a special bushing for his 450r stems. It replaces your stock one.

I called hellbound and yes it was suppose to have a bushing, being shipped priority mail.I tried a 400ex one but the o.d. was too small for the clamp.
They said the tierod mounts should be the same as stock,i'll have to see if that 1/4" longer throw will effect anything.
Thanks

I bought 2 Burgurd stems from Hellbound, and one was shipped without the bushings also.:grr:

The one I did install, afterwards on one side the wheel hits the a-arm when turned all the way. I didnt adjust tie-rods or anything so I will have to check it out a lil closer.

That's what i was thinking woud happen.A little longer plate would equal the tires turning sharper.
