87 250r trans gears

Need transmission gears for 87 trx250r. May just need third gear set but may buy whole set if the price is right. This is for a lightly ridden trail quad, not a race quad. Please email me at easystroke@houston.rr.com

Does anyone know if the complete 88/89 trans will fit into the 86/87 case?

yes the cases are the same from 85-89. the only diff in the motors are the rod length, cylinder height, trany gear ratio, and clutch diff, and the paint on the cases
