Winter Rebuild Done What do ya think ?

here is my 2005 race bike .... there isnt a whole lot left stock on the quad. Only thing im still waiting on is the AC nerf bars and my GPR steering Stabilizer. what does everyone think ? i am thinkn about putting it on the Quad of The Month. well ill have more later.

what do you mean by that?? i just talked to them (GPR) about 15min ago and they said they would have them in stock for the 450r in a week. i was going to order one tomorrow, but i don't want to end up waiting a month for it or something. :eek2:

looks great..I love that yellow! Just one thing about the powermadd handguards, where did you get the brackets that hook to the ends of the bars? and aren't they on upside down?

man that is the nices XC 450R i have ever seen! yeah you should definitely enter it into the quad of the month contest, you will have a good chance. i really like that yellow plastic, is it laker custom plastic? i had thought about what would the 450R look like with some yellow plastic and now i know it will look great. good job

Yes, The handwraps are on upside down (this we know), But thats the way Shaff wanted them installed because this way it helps hold your hands from slipping off the bars better.

normally i hate yellow plastic but i think that bike looks awesome you XC guys confuse me being all narrow:D at first i was like he spent all that money on a narrow front end and then i realized you must avoid trees

i would but the yellows are totally different yellows. the yellow i have from maier is Neon Yellow, Hi-Per ring match Honda yellow.
Do u think that it would still look better if they were honda yellow rather then black with the plastics ?

Hey, I must say that is one good looking bike!!!

I am doing a yellow and black mx build....I am going with laker custom plastic and gonna keep my hiper rings black.

My bike will have a black AC front bumper, frame, lower a=arms, rear ac grab bar, swingarm, liquid chrome upper a-arms, steering stem, subframe. Can't wait to get it all together....with all of my other mods below....I will have the crf ing...this time around also...

i didnt go ARS/FX because im am sponsored by the shop i work at and we deal Houser .... so i can get a better deal on those rather then ARS/FX.

I really like my exhaust, yet the db's are kinda high i think when i first got it they were 103 but i am gettin ready to do a slient sport repack and see what that does at Texas.
