I've never heard a Dr. D, but I know my full balance HMF is screaming loud. I don't think there is anyway it will pass sound checks at GNCC's.

if your trying to get a quiet pipe lol stay away from HMF although i hear the FMF powerbong header with a HMF slip on and quiet core isnt that bad although that is for a 400ex,idk if it will work on a R...PM steveatv3 about it,he has a full system HMF on his R

yah i was looking for a pipe with some really ear bleeding sound coming out of it. That bill ballance pipe is the one that has a carbon fibre look shell on it right??? i think i seen it in www.gopartsdirect.com. is that the right one????

all he 450r pipes eem to be ALOT louder then the same kind 400ex's pipes

all i can say is that i have a hmf and it seems not to be loud when ur ridin it but once u let 1 of ur friends ride it and u listen ull become deaf i have a slip on and its crazy loud i get some cops called on me all the time so be carefull wherre u ride with it

yah i live in atlantic canada, lol, the cops here arent really considered cops, pricks are a better name for them. they try and try and try some more to catch the bikes up here and never can, think they would give up after a while but its fun, something for us all to do when its boring during the evenings. my friend has a yfz450 with an hmf polished slip on, its awesome loud too.
