I have an o4 trx450r with the following
WB e series slip on
Wb Powerfilter
Main jet is 180
idle jet is 50
opened up air box lid like the HRC
13 tooth front sprocket

I ride at glamis mostly in lower gears 1-3 rarely am banging the top end . I also run paddles. So which cam will best meet my needs???

thanks

My suggestion would be the HRC cam or 2004 CRF450R cam. Here's the part numbers:

HRC - 14110-NLZ-650

2004 CRF450 - 14110-MEN-670

I rode both at Glamis over New Years, with your gearing and ITP Sand Star paddles. Either cam is nice upgrade from the stock cam. Both cams increase the higher revs a bunch. The HRC cam will definitly shift your powerband up in the RPMs.

I run the 04 CRF cam 2 degrees advanced for more low end torque in GNCC and other XC racing... as you can see in my signature I have a few other mods that work great with either of these cams.

There's quite a bit of TRX450R cam info here:

Happy duneing!

Theres a couple good choices out there for ya. If you are looking for good low end with a little more up top the 02 CRF cam id a good choice. I am running it with the rest of the HRC kit, havent had a chance to really ride it, butit felt damn good when I took her down the road. The HRC cam is very good but you WILL lose bottom end, and it flat out screams up top. The cam I have heard the most about would be the Hot cam stage 2. From what I have heard you dont lose power anywhere, and it gains throughout the power range. You can pick them up for around 120-140 with no core charge. that is a great deal on a really good cam, I would have on but picked up my sparks/02crf for a steal.
