IF I PUT 20 INCH HD'S ON MY 04 300EX WHT GEARING SHOULD I RUN FOR FAST TRAIL RIDING AND RACING?

stock is 22, so with the smaller tires youve lowered ur gearing, so id just try it the way it is first. if not low enough go with 12 tooth front sproket. stock is 13

Leave it stock, and if you need more top end go up a tooth in the front, or loose one in the rear;)

well with the mods you have you can run a 14/36 with no problem. even maybe a 15/36 if you really want speed.

We ride our 300 in the tight woods and we went up a tooth on the front sprocket to make 1st gear more usable and gain some top speed in 5th. We're doing the motor now, HC piston, cam, and headwork and I think I may go even higher now. I definately would not go smaller on the front. Like I said, with 20's, and stock gearing, 1st gear is a granny low. :)
