I have been running the cheapest chain that DID makes. Which wasn't bad for trail riding but now I've started racing motocross and in a month they are really strecthed. I've been looking at a DID X-RING and a Renthal chain. What kind of chains does everyone else run that races MX?

The x ring chain is a nice chain. I had one on my cr for 3 years, keep it lubed and cleaned and it won't do you wrong

Don't go with sidewinder!
I recently purchased a complete setup= Chain, front and rear sprockets and the chain they sent me is not as there website states. They state on there web site that there pins, bushings and side plates are oversized and I found out that when I received the chain it was smaller in the pin diameter and side plates than my stock chain. I asked them about that over the phone and they told me to talk to there tech department so I e-mailed them 2 times with no response, so much for support after the purchase.
Another thing is that I needed to adjust my sidewinder chain each time for the past 3 rides because the chain seems to stretch more than the stock one did.
My next purchase of a chain after some research will be the Gold DID X-Ring ATV chain. Because from the dimentions given in the specs of the chain it seems to be comparable to the stock chain which suited me well. Sidewinder just states there chain is oversized in the pin, bushing and side plate area but does not have specs. on it and when you ask they can not tell you what the specs are.

Ok thanks for all the replies.I think I'll probably go with the X-Ring. It seems like its a pretty good chain and is deffinatly a lot better than the ones I have been using.

I had a D.I.D o-ring on my 300ex for 2 years and replaced it about 2 months ago with a new o-ring chain.
