I would like to go....I know I have said that before but yesterday I hit some BIG jumps (30-40ft)at a friends house....they are suicide jumps...meaning if you dont go fast enough you die.....every jump has a BIG BIG BIG ditch after them. He is such a nut that he broke his frame yesterday (the 2 tubes that hold the front shock mount bar on broke off completly on the bottoms...it is the place where most people mount their rezzys) And since i got my Elkas i grew bigger balls.

Jack Frost has about 15-20 miles of trails. Mostly tight woods and LOTS of BIG rocks. Only a couple small open spots and small hills.

Is it true you need insurance and registration to ride there? Also, can riders under 16 ride full sized quads?

Broque (Beerock), if you go to Jack Frost, I do not recommend you attempting their trails. I know you don't like rocks, that is why I do not recommend you taking any of their trails, hehe. I know a lot of riders like the MX tracks they have. I like the little ones, but then I'm not sick like most of you on here hitting those huge jumps. (I'm one of those boring riders that likes to ride trails versus jumps). Just thought I'd answer your question Broque about rocks...... Have fun!!!!!

BTW bakerboyz, where did you hear that you need registration and insurance??? When I went there last year, they did not request that.

You dont need insurance or registration. And you can be under 16 years of age and ride a full sized machine.

So anyone else gonna go??

Its exit 284 (old exit 43) of Interstate 80. Make a right when you get to the end of the exit ramp. Then make a right at your first stop light. Travel down the road for about a mile until the jack frost entrance appears on your right hand side.

no i cant make it this weekend its ORTHODOX EASTER on sunday so, my wife would kill me if told her i was going riding.
racerx has the right exit # off rt 80 but i know when you go up the hill and get to the wawa you make a left at that light and go a mile or 2 and the entrance to jack is on the right and yes there is a sign.

Well I just got back and it was a fun day of riding all in all.

The day went great until I snapped my swingarm!!:( and cracked my nerf bars.

Then when I got home I realized that there is oil leaking from the top of the clutch linkage??:huh And my head pipe melted my clutch cable in half.

It was fun but it sure was a expensive ride today!:(

I was on the intermediate track and I was hitting the single to table top to double all afternoon.

well, i came up short about half a foot on the double(for a regular jump this would be ok)- but this jump sucked.

I flew over the bars and hit the ground, In my head I was praying my bike wouldnt hit me.

boy was I lucky, the only bruise I got was from holding on to the bars too long and having my hand gaurd bruise the top of my fore arm.

I got up just when my bike was coming off the rear grab bar and landing on its wheels.

oh yeah I bent my lsr steering stem too :o

my rims worked great though:)

I just happened to sell my old one on ebay this week, looks like I may have to cancel the auction:confused:
