I've purchased all but the thrust washer for the 89 clutch update.
22351-HB9-741 PLATE, PRESSURE, 22352-KAE-770 PIECE, LIFTER, 91001-147-006 BEARING, NEEDLE, 12MM, 22851-HA2-670 ROD COMP., LIFTER.

The 89 clutch update kit 06220-HB9-305 ROD, CLUTCH LIFTER, has a thrust washer which I can not find on the service honda exploded diagram, I called and they can't help.

Does anyone know the part number of the thrust washer?

Ok, I found out what the update kit is, and what it does for you, but now I need to know where I can buy it.

I found the complete kit at Nacs for 60.00 but they are sold out.

Can someone tell me where else I can buy this update kit???

Thanks

From NAC's:
Replace the old style clutch push rod system that uses steel balls. The balls wear and they wear the end of the push rod, making the clutch hard to disengage and creating excessive free play. This kit comes complete with new clutch pressure plate, push rod, push rod end, needle bearing, and thrust washer. (Stock item on 1989 TRX250R

The '89 parts offer less friction.

I just went through trying to find a update kit. Honda has not discontinued the part number yet, but when ordered it goes on intergalactic back order. All the pieces can be had ordering seperately, but the cost almost doubles.

The kit contains 5 pieces, 4 can be found in the parts book. The washer is the most illusive to find.

89 Clutch update kit...
Pressure plate - 22351-HB9-740
Push rod - 22851-HA2-670
Clutch lifter - 22352-HB9-740
Needle Bearing - 91001-147-003
Thrust washer - 90459-360-000

please help a dummy!

If I purchase the kit from servicehonda, does it include the pressure plate, or can I use the 86 plate that I have? Or, what's the best way to go?

We just grenaded the motor last week and it's being overhauled by a local machinist. I'd like to make the upgrade while it's down. Please add some directions for my lack of motor skills
