400ex tusk kill switch install

Alright I have a 400ex with all the controls removed except a yz kill switch for a start switch and an ignition switch and nuetral light. It's a tusk kill switch.

Is the tusk killswitch an open type or closed type?

when the tether is attached the circuit it open and when you fall off and pull the tether the switch is closed. So im thinking you have to ground a wire out but i dont know which.

The easiest way is the coil and frame. You want to splice the pulse wire going into the coil (I think it's black and yellow) and then ground the other end to the frame. This closes the circut grounding your spark to the frame.
